Kelly Bartholomeusz is a writer, audio producer, filmmaker, communications specialist and community worker based in Central Victoria on Dja Dja Wurrung land.

 

She is influenced by varied life experiences including her background in community development work, as well as interlinked philosophical, ethical and artistic enquiries. Kelly’s creative work orbits the themes of emergence, futurity, care and ‘crises of form’.

Kelly’s work has been shown at several major film festivals, has been nominated for the Footscray Art Prize, and has been supported by major arts organisations including The Wheeler Centre and the Emerging Writers Festival.

Her fiction, nonfiction, film and audio work have been published widely, including by Overland Literary Journal, The Sydney Morning Herald, ArtsHub, Island Magazine, Peril Magazine and The Feed.

Kelly is also skilled in strategic communications, knowledge translation, group and program facilitation, youth and community work, storytelling, project coordination and community participation. She has worked with diverse groups around complex issues and needs, through community organisations, research institutions, peak bodies, local government and international NGOs.
